Hello everyone

Hello anyone and everyone that may be reading this.

My name is Kate, 20 years of age and living in various parts of England.

I was born and raised in the countryside and decided to take it one stage further by studying a Countryside Management degree at Harper Adams University in Shropshire. I am currently entering my third year and will be out and about on placement in the next 12 months.

My love of the countryside is deeply rooted in me. I love everything about it and am fascinated by so many of its aspects. But I was thinking the other day about how peoples viewpoints of the countryside differ from one person to the next. Some people see the countryside as an opportunity to watch birds and wildlife, others see it as a recreational area whilst others see it simply as an escape from the busy and hectic urban life.

In this blog I will be sharing my thoughts on the countryside and how I see it. All the viewpoints are my own and I do not wish to start any arguments nor dictate that my view is the only view to have. Many aspects I will cover will be controversial and though I am always open to discussion and comments I would hate for any arguments nor negative comments to arise from this.
